Miracle-Gro® Multi Purpose Lawn Seed is a quality sports-grade grass seed specially formulated for hard-wearing lawns, ideal for over-seeding, creating a new lawn or to fill bare patches in the lawn.

Contains a blend of Fescue and Ryegrass for creating hard-wearing lawns that cope with lots of activity. Thanks to the special seed blend you can expect germination in just 5 days under ideal conditions.

With a blend of 70% ryegrass and 30% fescue seed this mix of seeds produces a thicker/ healthier lawn which is also child and pet friendly. This pack will cover 165 m2 at 30 grams/m² application rate. Germination in ideal conditions when the soil is moist will start to show in 5 days, less favourable conditions 10-14 days. Application March to October when the risk of frost has passed.

• Rake the area removing all weeds, stones or dead grass. If over-seeding ensure you mow the grass short first. Lightly cover the area with a lawn dressing level and firm by treading the soil.
• Shake the box to mix the seeds. If over seeding apply 20g/m2 ( approx half a hand full) and for new lawns or bare patches 30g/m2. Using the handy sprinkler on the side of the box, create a criss- cross pattern by sowing half the seed from left to right and the rest from top to bottom. Gently rake in and tread the seeds so they are in contact with the soil.
• Water the area well so it is soaked, keeping the soil moist for the next few weeks. Hose pipes and watering accessories are available in our store please search for HOZELOCK.
